This device comes equipped with 32GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro, with a price point of $699. The mini PC is contained within a uni-body aluminum chassis, measuring 117 x 111 x 38.5mm, and sports an anodized matte finish. Its design is minimalist, allowing for ease of DIY customization. Despite its compact size, the XT12 Pro offers a comprehensive range of I/O options, including two USB4 ports, four USB-A ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The central processing unit of the XT12 Pro is the Intel Core i9-12900H, which is based on a 10nm process technology. It includes 14 CPU cores, 20 threads, and a 24MB Intel Smart Cache, catering to intensive computing tasks such as software programming, 4K video editing, and data analysis. Graphics are handled by an Intel Iris Xe Graphics integrated GPU, providing performance comparable to an Nvidia MX350 GPU. This allows the XT12 Pro to run many modern AAA games at satisfactory frame rates and supports hardware encoding and decoding of popular video formats, positioning it as a suitable option for streaming and video content creation.
The device ships with 32GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200MHz RAM and a 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 SSD, both of which are user-replaceable. Additionally, there is an M.2 2242 slot available for adding an M.2 SATA SSD. GEEKOM, recognized as a leader in green mini PCs, has shown its commitment to environmental protection by participating in Earth Hour, with employees turning off their lights for 60 minutes. The company produced a video to advocate for green computing.
