GoPro, Inc. has announced a significant merchandising rollout and sales program at Best Buy, a leading specialty consumer electronics retailer. This retail expansion involves the installation of newly redesigned product displays, an assisted sales program, and both in-store and digital marketing to enhance the GoPro customer experience.
GoPro cameras and accessories will be prominently featured in nearly 900 Best Buy stores across North America. This includes more than 250 specialty Camera Experience Shops (CES). These CES locations will showcase expanded product displays, providing double the accessory space to offer customers a broader selection of GoPro products.
Dean Jahnke, GoPro’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Channel Marketing, emphasized the value of this initiative. He noted that the combination of increased shelf space and brand presence with Best Buy’s knowledgeable sales staff will create a strong in-store experience for GoPro customers. Jahnke expressed enthusiasm about delivering a comprehensive GoPro experience at Best Buy locations throughout North America.
Best Buy store associates will receive specialized training on GoPro’s complete product lineup. This training will enable them to offer customers guidance, tips, and advice from accredited experts as they shop for the latest GoPro cameras and accessories.
The new product displays are currently available in Best Buy’s Camera Experience Shops and will be added to the remaining Best Buy locations by July.
