Dreame Technology has announced the release of its latest robot vacuum, the Dreame X40 Ultra, available from April 19. This new model aims to redefine clean living with its advanced features, including industry-leading suction power, a fully automated cleaning station, an anti-tangle brush, and intelligent mapping technology.
The Dreame X40 Ultra is designed to address common consumer pain points identified through extensive research. Users seek a robotic vacuum that can thoroughly clean corners and edges, requires minimal maintenance, and uses smart technology for accurate home mapping. Chris Lin, General Manager of Dreame Technology North America, emphasized that the Dreame X40 Ultra meets these needs with its bionic robotic arm technology, self-cleaning base station, algorithm-based path planning, and advanced obstacle recognition.
The vacuum’s smart mapping capabilities include four-level mapping, creating efficient cleaning paths in organized rows or targeted areas. Equipped with an RGB camera and 3D structured light, the X40 Ultra can identify and avoid 120 types of objects, ensuring comprehensive cleaning even in varied lighting conditions and spaces.
The Dreame X40 Ultra boasts powerful suction at 12,000 Pa, making it effective against stubborn stains and pet hair. Its cutting heads are designed to protect rugs and carpets while removing tangled hair. The vacuum’s extendable side brushes can lift and extend for thorough sweeping and mopping, covering tight corners and crevices.
The X40 Ultra features a self-cleaning base station that handles multiple maintenance tasks. It can remove, wash, dry, and reattach mop pads, refill its water tank, and empty its internal dustbin into a 3.2-liter dust bag that requires emptying every 75 days. The base station also mixes the perfect water-to-solution ratio for future cleaning sessions.
Users can control the Dreame X40 Ultra through the Dreamehome app, which provides personalized access to features such as the extendable side brush, hands-free base station, smart mop and washboard cleaning, 12,000 Pa suction, and OmniDirt detection technology. The app also supports precision mopping strategies, making the vacuum versatile for different cleaning needs.
