ZENB has launched a new line of ramen, offering a vegan and gluten-free option for ramen enthusiasts. Inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine, ZENB Ramen aims to deliver authentic flavors with a focus on real ingredients. The new ramen line includes three classic Japanese flavors: Shoyu, Spicy Miso, and Vegan Tonkotsu.
Each ZENB Ramen pouch contains non-fried noodles made from 100% whole yellow peas and a packet of umami-rich soup broth. The noodles maintain a chewy and springy texture, providing a restaurant-quality experience. Each serving of ZENB Ramen offers 18 grams of protein and 11 grams of fiber, making it a nutritious alternative to traditional instant ramen.
The three flavors are designed to appeal to a variety of tastes. The Spicy Miso flavor combines savory miso with a blend of chilies for a spicy kick. The Shoyu flavor features tamari soy sauce with ginger and white pepper notes. The Vegan Tonkotsu flavor offers a rich, full-bodied taste with sesame and roasted garlic.
ZENB Chief Storyteller Hugo Pérez explained that the brand’s approach is influenced by the Japanese concept of “zenbu,” meaning whole. This philosophy is reflected in the company’s use of whole food ingredients and a commitment to sustainability. ZENB is part of Mizkan, a Japanese food company with a long history of innovative food development.
This summer, ZENB will conduct a mobile sampling tour across the country to introduce its new ramen line. The “Keeping It Real” tour aims to showcase ZENB’s plant-based foods to a wider audience. Ramen lovers will have the chance to sample the new products and experience the flavors firsthand.
