Georgia-Pacific is relaunching its ARIA brand of bath tissue as a three-ply premium product made entirely from recycled fiber and wrapped in recyclable paper packaging. The new ARIA aims to meet the needs of environmentally conscious consumers by combining premium softness with eco-friendly features.
The original ARIA product did not fully meet consumers’ eco-friendly expectations as it contained virgin fiber and plastic packaging. The new version addresses these concerns by using 100% recycled fiber and recyclable paper packaging. The packaging can be recycled through standard curbside paper recycling processes. Additionally, the product is septic-safe and flushable, making it suitable for standard sewer and septic systems. The updated ARIA bath tissue is available at Meijer, Raleys, Savemart, and online at Amazon.
Georgia-Pacific has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant native trees in U.S. forest ecosystems, focusing on areas affected by wildfires. This partnership aims to restore habitats and support environmental sustainability.
The ARIA bath tissue is manufactured and packaged at Georgia-Pacific’s mill in Halsey, Oregon. The company has invested in new equipment to produce this eco-friendly product. The recycled fiber used in ARIA is primarily sourced from high-grade Sorted Office Paper recovered from offices and schools, which would otherwise end up in landfills.
Caitlin Allen, brand director for Georgia-Pacific, emphasizes that ARIA bath tissue offers a sustainable solution that helps consumers reduce their environmental impact while providing premium softness.
