Saks Fifth Avenue is expanding its luxury personal shopping and styling service, The Fifth Avenue Club, to reach a total of 20 standalone locations by the end of 2024. This expansion follows a positive customer response to existing locations and comes one year after the launch of standalone suites in hotels and resorts across the U.S. The latest location opened in Austin, TX, with additional openings planned for Fort Worth, TX, St. Petersburg, FL, and Rancho Santa Fe, CA, following recent openings in Savannah, GA, Denver, CO, and Minneapolis, MN.
Larry Bruce, President of Saks Fifth Avenue stores, noted the success of the standalone Fifth Avenue Club suites and the increasing demand for personalized fashion expertise. He highlighted that the concept has fostered a new and engaged client base along with a skilled team of stylists who deliver tailored shopping and styling services to clients within their communities. The expansion aims to extend Saks’ personalized service and curated luxury offerings to more clients across the U.S.
Saks Fifth Avenue identified high-potential markets for expansion based on insights from existing customers, driving high client engagement, particularly in women’s ready-to-wear. The openings also strengthen Saks Fifth Avenue’s partnership with luxury resort operator Marriott International, including The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, where nearly half of the locations are based. Auberge Resorts Collection is a key partner in Texas, with new openings in Austin and Fort Worth. The upcoming Rancho Santa Fe, CA location at Rancho Valencia will be the first within a Relais & Chateaux property.
The standalone Fifth Avenue Club suites extend the brand’s existing in-store Fifth Avenue Clubs, offering personal shopping and styling appointments, special events, and trunk shows. Skilled personal stylists from local communities provide clients with expert services based on specific needs and preferences, covering clothing, accessories, shoes, and fine jewelry.
Clients can connect with a stylist through the Fifth Avenue Club for a consultation to discuss style preferences, wardrobe needs, sizing, and designer preferences. Stylists then curate merchandise from the full Saks Fifth Avenue inventory, including Saks.com and physical stores, for private appointments.
