Sour Patch Kids has partnered with Snapple to introduce a new limited-time candy, Sour Patch Kids Snapple fruit-flavored mix. This new product features flavors inspired by Snapple’s popular juice drinks, including Mango Madness, Kiwi Strawberry, and Fruit Punch. The collaboration aims to combine the sour-then-sweet experience of Sour Patch Kids with the refreshing flavors of Snapple.
Grace Howard, Innovation Brand Manager at Mondelēz International, highlighted the brand’s focus on introducing new flavors and creating excitement among fans. Partnering with Snapple was seen as an ideal way to enhance the Sour Patch Kids experience with iconic juice drink flavors.
Kelli Freeman, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Keurig Dr Pepper, emphasized that the partnership with Sour Patch Kids allows Snapple fans to enjoy their favorite flavors in a new candy format. This collaboration aligns with Snapple’s vision of inspiring a more flavorful world.
Starting August 1, Sour Patch Kids and Snapple will launch a virtual trivia game on TikTok. Fans can participate in the “Fact or Kid” game to determine whether a statement is a Snapple Real Fact or a playful fabrication by Sour Patch Kids. Participants who correctly answer three out of five questions and post the video with #SPKContest can enter a drawing to win up to $1,000. A mail-in entry method is also available, and fans are encouraged to follow @therealsourpatchkids on TikTok for more details.
