PetSafe brand, known for its mission to create joyful environments for pets and their owners, is once again partnering with One Knoxville Sporting Club (One Knox) to enhance community engagement. This year, the collaboration will celebrate their mascot Sweeper’s Gotcha Day with a special event, Pups at The Pitch.

Last year, PetSafe initiated a campaign to select a mascot by profiling six dogs from Young Williams Animal Center (YWAC) on social media, allowing fans to vote for their favorite. Sweeper emerged as the chosen mascot. Over the past year, Sweeper has undergone extensive training both at home and on the pitch, becoming a well-trained and joyful presence at various team events and fan interactions.

The event celebrating Sweeper’s Gotcha Day will invite fans and pet lovers to bring their dogs to the pitch. YWAC, the largest animal shelter in the southeast, will bring four rescue dogs to the game, each of which will be profiled on PetSafe’s official Instagram channel (@PetSafe) to promote pet adoption. All featured dogs will be available for adoption.

Attendees can expect treats and giveaways for both fans and their pets, creating a festive atmosphere for the celebration.
