Twang, a manufacturer known for premium-flavored salts, sugars, and seasoning blends, has introduced new branding and packaging along with several new products. The new offerings include Chile Lime Beer Salt, Tangy Tamarind Snack Salt, and Classic Chamoy Snack Salt. These updated packages and products are now available online and in stores like Walmart and HEB.
Twang has consolidated its product lines under the Twang name. Previously, the products were known by separate names such as Beer Salt, Twangerz, Twang-A-Rita, and Reserve Michelada Mixes. Now, these are rebranded as Twang Beer Salt, Twang Drink Rimmers, Twang Snack Salts, and Twang Michelada Mixer, respectively. Despite the rebranding, the products retain their original flavors, with new ones being added.
The redesigned packaging reflects the brand’s Latino heritage and fun ethos, featuring elements like papel picado and playful icons. Twang CEO Elysia Treviño-Gonzales expressed excitement about the cohesive new look, highlighting the effort put into the brand refresh.
The new flavors introduced include Twang’s Chile Lime Beer Salt, which provides a zesty combination of lime and chiles suitable for pairing with beer, hard seltzers, canned cocktails, and sodas. Twang’s Tangy Tamarind Snack Salt blends fruit flavor with spicy chile and tangy lime. The Classic Chamoy Snack Salt offers a granular take on the popular condiment, combining pickled fruit, chiles, and lime. These new snack salt flavors are designed to enhance the taste of everyday snacks like fruit, vegetables, and candy.
