Royal Caribbean International has announced that the Allure of the Seas will undergo a significant $100 million enhancement, set to debut in April 2025. This refurbishment will introduce new dining, entertainment, and relaxation options, as well as a variety of destinations across Europe. The updated Allure of the Seas will offer 7-night western Mediterranean cruises departing from Barcelona, Spain, and visiting locations such as Provence (Marseille), France; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia) and Rome, Italy; and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
The ship will feature more than 35 new dining and drinking options, including the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, along with new entertainment and relaxation venues such as the 10-story Ultimate Abyss slide and resort-style pools. The Ultimate Panoramic Suites will provide 200-degree panoramic views with floor-to-ceiling windows and exclusive amenities. These enhancements are designed to cater to various types of vacationers, offering both thrill-seeking and relaxing experiences.
Kyra Caskey, Senior Director of Marketing at CloroxPro, noted that the demand for eco-conscious cleaners and disinfectants is increasing. The new wipes provide cleaning professionals with an eco-friendly alternative that performs as effectively as leading professional disinfecting wipes.
In addition to these new features, the Allure of the Seas will include popular attractions like the Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, and the Royal Escape Room. The ship will also offer a range of family-friendly activities, including laser tag, Adventure Ocean for kids, and the revamped Social298 teen space.
The Allure of the Seas will be one of six Royal Caribbean ships sailing from five destinations in Europe during the summer of 2025 before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2025. From Fort Lauderdale, the ship will offer 6- to 8-night cruises to the eastern Caribbean and The Bahamas, including stops at destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay and the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas.
