Can-Am, a brand under BRP Inc., has announced the release of its highly anticipated 2025 Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin all-electric motorcycles. This launch marks a significant step in BRP’s 80-year history of powersports innovation, as Can-Am seeks to bring new excitement to the electric motorcycle industry, catering to both new riders and electric vehicle enthusiasts.
The Can-Am Pulse and Origin models are powered by BRP’s proprietary Rotax E-Power units, available in 11 kW or 35 kW variants. These electric motorcycles are designed to offer instant torque, blending performance with modern design elements. A standout feature of the new lineup is the innovative liquid-cooled system that helps limit battery degradation while optimizing range and charge time. Using Level 2 charging, the system allows for efficient charging from 20% to 80% in just 50 minutes, whether at home or at automotive charging stations.
Can-Am Pulse
The Can-Am Pulse is tailored for urban environments. This agile and nimble naked motorcycle is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display featuring Apple CarPlay, providing seamless connectivity through the BRP GO! App. The Pulse includes an Active ReGen system that enhances control and deceleration while regenerating power back to the battery. With four riding modes—Normal, Sport+, ECO, and Rain—the Pulse adapts to various urban settings. The model also offers an optional “Pulse 73” trim, which adds features like LED lighting, a LinQ gauge spoiler, and unique paint and badging.
Can-Am Origin
The Can-Am Origin is engineered for both city streets and off-road adventures. Sharing the same connective technology as the Pulse, the Origin includes additional features such as an Off-Road riding mode, higher ground clearance, and dual-sport tires. With six riding modes—Normal, Sport, ECO, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road+—the Origin is versatile enough for various terrains. The “Origin 73” trim is also available, offering enhancements like LED lighting and a LinQ windscreen.
Both models come standard with an 8.9 kWh battery, designed to perform in extreme conditions. The Pulse offers an estimated city range of up to 160 km (100 miles), while the Origin provides up to 145 km (90 miles). These motorcycles are built for ease of use, featuring a twist-and-go throttle with no standard clutch or transmission, as well as a reverse function for easy maneuverability. Riders will appreciate the near-silent, vibration-free experience and the smooth power delivery in all riding situations.

Pre-orders for the Can-Am Pulse and Origin are now open at select BRP dealerships across several countries, including France, Germany, the United States, and Canada.
