Dreame Technology has introduced the L40 Ultra, its latest robot vacuum, at the IFA 2024 event in Berlin. The L40 Ultra is designed to offer a hands-free cleaning solution, featuring an auto-empty function that can operate for up to 75 days without requiring manual intervention. In addition to vacuuming, the L40 Ultra includes automated mop cleaning and drying, providing a fully automated cleaning experience.

The L40 Ultra’s design prioritizes ease of use, targeting individuals who want to maintain a clean home without manual effort. It features a Dual Flex Arm for mopping and a side brush for sweeping, enabling the device to clean hard-to-reach areas such as wall corners and spaces beneath furniture. The robot’s TripleUp Tech synchronizes the movement of the side brush, mop, and main brush, ensuring efficient separation of wet and dry cleaning tasks.

A key feature of the L40 Ultra is its 7-in-1 auto base station, which not only empties the dustbin but also cleans and dries the mop, minimizing odors and reducing the need for manual maintenance. The base station includes a 3.2L dust bag that helps extend the time between emptying.

With a suction power of 11,000Pa, the L40 Ultra is equipped to handle various types of debris, including pet hair and dirt on both hard floors and carpets. The anti-tangle TriCut brush, sold separately, is available to further prevent tangles, saving users time.

The vacuum’s intelligent features include CleanGenius Management, which utilizes a five-channel RGB camera to identify different room types and recommend optimal cleaning strategies. The system also detects heavy stains and adjusts the cleaning process accordingly. Additionally, the robot’s Omni Sensitivity and obstacle avoidance capabilities allow it to recognize and avoid up to 100 types of objects, such as cables and pets, even in low-light conditions.

The L40 Ultra also supports voice commands and integrates with third-party voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google Home, allowing users to control their cleaning tasks through simple voice prompts.
