Central Bark, a leader in whole dog care, has introduced Puppy Hour, a weekly socialization event for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks old. This initiative, launched in January, addresses the need for structured and safe socialization during a crucial developmental phase. Since its introduction, 36 Central Bark locations across the U.S. have begun offering the event, welcoming over 700 puppies.

Puppy Hour provides a controlled environment where puppies interact with others of a similar age, ensuring safety with vaccinated dogs and supervised play. This program has not only benefited puppies but also introduced many to Central Bark’s broader daycare services as they age out of the program.

Bob Crawford, CEO of Central Bark, emphasized the company’s commitment to filling the industry gap in puppy socialization, while COO Tim Weiderhoft highlighted the positive reception from pet parents. Central Bark, known for its whole dog care approach, continues to offer a wide range of services, including day care, boarding, grooming, and training.

Puppy Hour is free, but pre-registration is required due to limited space. Puppies must have up-to-date Bordetella and DHPP vaccines to participate.
