This new release is part of the brand’s Extra Rare Series, following the success of Crown Royal Aged 30 Years. The whisky has been aged for over three decades and represents the brand’s dedication to crafting high-quality spirits.
Crown Royal Aged 31 Years was created to showcase the rich flavors and smoothness characteristic of Canadian rye whisky. Hand-selected barrels were chosen by Crown Royal Master Blender Mark Balkenende to bring out notes of spice, red apple, toasted oak, and vanilla. The whisky offers a long, full finish with warm fruity spices, making it a unique addition to any luxury spirits collection.
Hadley Schafer, VP of Crown Royal, emphasized the rarity of this variant, noting that it reflects the brand’s commitment to producing exceptional whiskies. With an ABV of 46%, this whisky is designed for those seeking a premium tasting experience.
Crown Royal Aged 31 Years is available for a limited time in select regions, including Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. The suggested retail price is $599 for a 750ml bottle.
