Japanese skincare brand Tatcha has announced its upcoming launch at Ulta Beauty, one of the largest beauty retailers in the United States. Starting January 1, 2025, Tatcha products will be available at over 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores and online, marking a significant expansion for the brand.
Known for combining traditional Japanese beauty rituals with modern science, Tatcha offers skincare products crafted in Japan using time-honored ingredients and its proprietary Hadasei-3 blend. The brand’s entry into Ulta Beauty reflects a growing interest in Asian beauty practices, particularly in holistic skin health and mindful consumption.
The launch will feature Tatcha’s popular moisturizers, including The Dewy Skin Cream and The Water Cream, as part of Ulta Beauty’s prestige skincare collection. The Dewy Skin Cream, a bestseller since its 2019 debut, has experienced consistent growth and will be available alongside exclusive product sets designed for Ulta Beauty shoppers.
Tatcha CEO Mary Yee emphasized the brand’s focus on intentional partnerships and its alignment with Ulta Beauty’s values. She noted that the collaboration allows Tatcha to introduce its transformative skincare rituals to a wider audience, fostering deeper connections to self-care.
Tatcha’s mission extends beyond skincare. Through its Beautiful Faces, Beautiful Futures initiative, a portion of each purchase supports Room to Read, a nonprofit dedicated to combating childhood illiteracy and gender inequality. This effort complements Ulta Beauty’s Joy Project, which aims to use beauty as a force for good.
