Elegoo has announced the release of the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K, an advanced resin 3D printer that enhances the features of its predecessor, the Saturn 4 Ultra. This model is designed for industries requiring high precision, such as gaming and dentistry, with specifications that include a 10-inch 16K Mono LCD screen, 14 x 19 μm XY resolution, and 0.02 mm Z-axis accuracy.
The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K incorporates user-friendly features that improve performance, including a quick-release, non-slip design and a smart tank heating system that maintains resin at 30°C. These enhancements aim to ensure consistent print quality, particularly in low-temperature conditions.
The printer achieves a speed of up to 150 mm/h and has a build volume of 211.68 mm x 118.37 mm x 220 mm, suitable for various print sizes. It utilizes Tilt Release Technology to facilitate quicker peeling of the model from the release film, which contributes to its efficiency.
Additionally, the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K includes smart sensors for detecting resin levels and potential issues, reducing waste and improving the user experience. A built-in AI camera provides real-time monitoring, while Wi-Fi cluster printing allows for the management of multiple devices.
The printer is compatible with Elegoo’s SatelLite slicing software, which supports both Elegoo and other brands, offering features such as advanced support structures and model repair. Currently available for Windows, Mac compatibility is expected in the future. The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K also supports ChituBox, providing users with additional slicing options.
