Hostess has announced the introduction of Hostess Cupcakes Minis, a new product that presents a smaller version of the traditional Hostess Cupcakes. Designed for convenience, these mini cupcakes are aimed at busy families and individuals seeking portable snack options. Each mini cupcake is made with chocolate cake, filled with whipped crème, and features the classic Original Squiggle, utilizing real cocoa without high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors.
Aundrea Graver, Director of Brand Marketing at Hostess Brands, stated, “We craft all of our products with people’s busy lives in mind which is why we’ve made the #1 cupcake mini increasing its portability.” This indicates a focus on creating snacks that can easily fit into various lifestyles.
Hostess Cupcakes Minis will be available in single-serve pouches containing three mini cakes, as well as multipacks that include six pouches with two mini cakes each. The product is scheduled to start shipping on March 3, 2025, and will be priced similarly to other core Hostess products, making it suitable for lunchboxes and on-the-go snacking as spring approaches.
