PioCreat, an independent subsidiary of Creality, has announced the launch of the HALOT-X1 16K Intelligent Exposure resin 3D Printer on Kickstarter, starting April 1st, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET. The early bird pricing begins at $399.
The HALOT-X1 is designed to make resin 3D printing more accessible through several user-centric innovations. One notable feature is its True Leveling-Free design, which allows users to print straight out of the box without the need for extensive calibration, thanks to a pre-leveled fixed build plate. The printer’s new motion structure features a top-down movement of the light source module and resin vat, while the build plate remains stationary. This design enhances stability and minimizes layer lines.
Another significant aspect is the Quick-Release Build Plate, which employs a twist-to-release mechanism to safely remove prints without damaging them. The HALOT-X1 also includes 92 light zones for intelligent exposure, which activates light only where necessary, optimizing the model layout while reducing overexposure. This feature contributes to the longevity of the LCD.
With a 10.1-inch 16K mono LCD and a highly collimated honeycomb matrix light source delivering 6000 µW/cm², the printer is capable of producing detailed prints with a build volume of 211.68 × 118.37 × 200 mm. Additionally, the Intelligent AFU Resin Management System automates several processes, including resin feeding, recycling, and heating, which can improve print quality, especially in colder environments. The system can heat resin to a temperature range of 30–45℃ in just three minutes.
The HALOT-X1 also offers one-click printing with cloud-based parameter packages for official resins, simplifying the setup process for users. This combination of features positions the HALOT-X1 as a versatile and user-friendly option for those interested in resin 3D printing.
