Código 1530 has been designated as the “Official Tequila of Stagecoach,” a prominent country music festival scheduled to take place in Indio, California, from April 25 to 27. As part of this designation, Código 1530 has introduced a commemorative 2025 Stagecoach bottle, which features the brand’s signature Reposado tequila. This limited-edition bottle is intended for both festival attendees and tequila enthusiasts.
The festival will also showcase the “Cowboys & Dreamers” Margarita, inspired by co-founder George Strait. This cocktail will be available throughout the event and can also be prepared at home using the “Cowboys & Dreamers” Margarita Cocktail Kit. This kit includes all necessary ingredients for creating the cocktail, including a refreshing watermelon variation.
In addition to the Reposado tequila, Código 1530 will release a George Strait Special Edition Añejo tequila in early 2025, which has been aged for two years in French Oak Cabernet wine barrels. The core offerings of Código 1530 include Blanco, Rosa, Reposado, Añejo, and “Origen” Extra-Añejo, all crafted in accordance with traditional methods from the Los Bajos region of Mexico.
Festivalgoers aged 21 and older are invited to visit the Código Tequila Cantina during the event, designed to resemble a Texas dance hall and honor George Strait. The cantina will offer a variety of craft cocktails, including the “Cowboys & Dreamers” margarita. Although George Strait will not attend the festival, he has expressed his enthusiasm for the event and the experience it offers to fans.
