SODI has launched a new product on Kickstarter called the Aroma Scent Phone Case, designed specifically for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. The case includes a replaceable scent capsule that releases fragrance during use, combining phone protection with a personalized sensory experience.
The Aroma Scent Phone Case offers five different scent options: Blue Poppy, Red Rose, Earth, Seaside, and Jasmine. Each is developed with layered fragrance profiles intended to suit various moods and preferences. The case is also designed for impact protection, featuring airbag-style shock resistance to reduce damage from drops.
In terms of functionality, the case is MagSafe compatible, allowing it to work with magnetic mounts, wireless chargers, and other MagSafe accessories without the need to remove it. SODI states that the goal of the product is to enhance daily interaction with mobile devices by adding a sensory element that aligns with personal style.
SODI, which also manufactures other Apple accessories such as keyboards and Vision Pro gear, describes the Aroma Scent Case as an effort to combine practicality and design. According to a company spokesperson, “We wanted to design something that not only protects your phone but also elevates your daily interaction with it. The Aroma Scent Case lets users express their personality in a new way — through scent.”
Although it has only been on Kickstarter for two days, the campaign has already drawn interest from backers. Early supporters have access to special pricing and product bundles as part of the campaign’s initial launch period.
