Mars will exhibit its latest snacking innovations at the 2025 Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis, running May 13–15 at booth 5202. The company plans to showcase products that reflect evolving consumer trends—ranging from better-for-you formats to novel textures and seasonal offerings.
Tim LeBel, president of sales at Mars Wrigley North America, said that treating “plays an important role in life’s moments, big and small,” and described the lineup as aiming to “deliver exciting experiences with our products.” Highlights include:
- Starburst Goodies: Plant-based gummies made with real fruit juice, containing 4 grams of sugar per serving and enhanced with dietary fiber.
- M&Ms Peanut Butter & Jelly: Bite-sized chocolate candies featuring a smooth peanut butter center and a berry-flavored shell, inspired by the classic sandwich.
- Skittles Pop’d Original & Sour: Freeze-dried variants of Skittles featuring a crispy, crunchy texture in both original and sour profiles.
- Snickers Pecan: A twist on the traditional bar, combining caramel, nougat and milk chocolate with added pecans for a savory-sweet balance.
- Snickers Shapes: Seasonal, festive shapes—ranging from spring motifs to holiday designs—offering the same peanut-caramel-chocolate combination in new formats.
Mars will also discuss how “stretched seasons”—such as early Halloween trends like Summerween and Augtober—are creating extended opportunities for seasonal engagement. By aligning product launches with these microseasons, retailers can tap into emerging celebrations that prolong consumer interest and expand basket size.
Attendees at the expo can sample these innovations and learn how Mars is adapting its portfolio to meet consumer demand for novel formats, better-for-you ingredients and year-round seasonal treats.
