Harry’s today introduced Harry’s Plus, its most ambitious launch to date and the culmination of a decade of research and engineering. The new system features an advanced pivoting cartridge that smoothly follows facial contours, five precision-ground German blades for a progressively closer shave, a lubricating aloe strip for added glide, and an ergonomic metal handle for ultimate control.
Co-founders Jeff Raider and Andy Katz-Mayfield acquired a 90-year-old blade factory in Eisfeld, Germany, less than a year after Harry’s was founded in 2013, laying the groundwork for today’s breakthrough. “We’ve always envisioned a next-generation system that delivers truly premium performance,” said Raider. “After 10 years of prototyping, testing and custom machinery investment, Harry’s Plus is our best shave ever.”
Harry’s is now the second-largest men’s shave brand in the U.S., claiming a 25% share of non-disposable razor systems and three years of consecutive volume growth. “Creating products people like more has driven us from the start,” said Katz-Mayfield. “With Harry’s Plus, we’re offering millions of new customers an exceptional shave at a fraction of competitor prices.”
