Solo Stove, best known for its smokeless fire pits, has launched its first cooler, the Solo Windchill 47, bringing a trio of chilling innovations to tailgates, campsites and backyard barbecues. Beyond premium foam insulation that keeps food and drinks cold for days, the Windchill 47 integrates a rechargeable portable air conditioner in its lid and a fine-mist system that repurposes melted ice for instant relief on sweltering afternoons.
Designed to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts—from weekend adventurers to fishing fanatics—the 47-quart cooler holds up to 65 cans and delivers more than three hours of active cooling on a single battery charge. Built-in all-terrain wheels, a telescoping handle, accessory attachment points, USB charging ports and an integrated bottle opener round out its feature set, while a rear-facing drain makes cleanup quick and easy.
“This first-ever cooler represents the next chapter for Solo Stove,” said John Larson, CEO. “By combining proven insulation with portable AC and misting technology, we’re redefining what a cooler can do and helping people stay comfortable when the heat is on.”
The Solo Windchill 47 also debuts Solo Stove’s updated logo—part of the brand’s evolution beyond fire pits into new categories aimed at enhancing every aspect of outdoor living.
