PS Seasoning has introduced a new collection of barbecue rubs and sauces just in time for National BBQ Month, aiming to bring global flavor trends to backyard grills and smokers. With nearly four in five American households owning grilling equipment, the spice and sauce specialist is rolling out two entirely new rubs, a returning favorite, and a companion sauce inspired by its best-selling seasoning.
The lineup kicks off with Cherry Bomb BBQ Rub, which blends tart cherry with smoky spices and a touch of heat, echoing the profile of PS Seasoning’s popular Cherry Bomb BBQ Sauce. Churro Dust BBQ Rub offers a sweet, buttery cinnamon-sugar seasoning that puts a playful spin on dessert flavors for everything from chicken to grilled fruit. Returning by popular demand is Eye Opener BBQ Rub, a robust mix featuring smoky ancho chilies, bold coffee notes and a hint of bourbon for a savory, spirited finish. Rounding out the collection is Notorious P.I.G. BBQ Sauce, a brown-sugar-based condiment spiked with chipotle and chili peppers to deliver a juicy, sweet-and-spicy complement to meat and vegetables alike.
Developed in PS Seasoning’s Culinary and R&D Center, the new products reflect both nostalgic tastes and global inspirations. They join the company’s existing line of gourmet burger and steak seasonings, including the sofi Award–winning On the Rocks Steak Seasoning and The Works Burger Seasoning, recognized as one of Wisconsin’s coolest locally made products.
