Hisense is leveling up its ConnectLife app this fall by adding Google’s new Home APIs, so users can control not only their Hisense TVs, fridges and air conditioners but also a host of third-party smart devices in one place. Thanks to the integration, anything that’s Matter- or Works with Google Home certified—think smart plugs, lights, doorbells and air-quality sensors—will pair straight into ConnectLife, bringing over 750 million devices into the fold.

Once the update rolls out, you’ll be able to create one-touch modes and custom automations that blend Hisense gear with other brands. Imagine your air conditioner automatically kicking into Eco mode when a third-party air-quality sensor detects pollen, or your smart lights flashing when the refrigerator’s drink drawer hits the perfect chill. All of these cross-device scenarios can be set up directly in ConnectLife’s streamlined interface, no juggling multiple apps required.

Hisense Americas’ smart-home lead, Miguel Becerra, says this marks a big step toward “simplifying smart living for everyone.” By bringing diverse devices into a single app, ConnectLife users can build a truly unified smart home—whether they’re at the sofa or halfway around the world. The enhanced app will be available on both Android and iOS this fall.
