Following the success of its first 2025 Creativity Workshop earlier this spring, LEGO is launching the second installment in its free workshop series—this time with a focus on nature and botanicals. Designed for children aged 6 to 12, the workshops aim to spark creativity, encourage hands-on learning, and foster an appreciation for the natural world.
The Botanical Creativity Workshops will be available both in-person and online, offering families flexible ways to participate. The virtual workshop is now live on LEGO’s website and is hosted by New York-based content creator Christopher Griffin, also known as Plant Kween. In the video, Griffin guides viewers through nature-inspired LEGO builds, including a plant pot, a vase, and a desk plant.
For those who prefer in-person experiences, select LEGO stores will host guided Creativity Workshops on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. During these free events, LEGO Brick Specialists will assist young creators in building their own butterfly gardens. Though participation is free, advance registration is required at LEGO.com/CreativityWorkshops.
“These workshops are joyful, hands-on learning experiences that plant the seeds for creativity and connection,” said Griffin. “It’s a celebration of the beauty that plants bring into our lives—one brick at a time.”
Both formats aim to nurture kids’ imaginations and social development while encouraging exploration through building. The Creativity Workshop series is part of LEGO’s broader mission to support girls’ creativity and engagement, with rotating themes throughout the year, including Friendship, Botanicals, and Summer Fun.
