Maxim’s de Paris is making its debut in the US home coffee appliance market with the launch of the La Seine X, a premium espresso machine that blends smart technology, customizable pressure settings, and French-inspired design. Touted as the world’s first intelligent semi-automatic three-in-one variable pressure espresso machine, the Seine X is aimed at redefining the high-end home brewing experience.
The machine took four years to develop and draws aesthetic cues from the iconic 1950s French Simca 9 car. With a sleek, retro-modern design and a host of professional-grade features, it’s positioned to compete with the top tier of home espresso devices.
One of its standout features is the patented MPF Multi-Frequency Stable Pressure Control system, which allows users to fine-tune espresso extraction pressure from 3 to 15 bars. This variable pressure function gives users the flexibility to highlight different flavor profiles in beans ranging from light roasts to bold dark blends.
The machine also includes a professional-grade ‘super-steam’ wand that delivers dry steam for milk frothing, ideal for cappuccinos, flat whites, and cortados. An integrated thermometer helps monitor milk temperature for precision steaming.
