3i has launched the G10+, the world’s first robot vacuum that compresses debris and features an extendable mop. Instead of relying on a bulky auto-empty station, the G10+ uses onboard dust collection powered by 3i’s proprietary Auto Debris Compression technology. A built-in mechanical paddle compresses dirt into the 1,000ml dustbin, allowing up to 60 days of hands-free operation. To keep stored debris hygienic, the G10+ also includes a UV light that disinfects as it compresses.
The charging dock is compact and lightweight, making it easy to place anywhere in homes of all sizes. The G10+ cleans into tight corners thanks to an UltraReach™ side brush that extends automatically. With 18,000 Pa of suction—more than double many competitors—it lifts fine dust and heavier debris. When it’s time to mop, a self-adaptive mopping pad maintains contact with baseboards and edges for gap-free cleaning in a single pass.
Under the hood, the G10+ inherits flagship-level smarts from 3i’s S10 Ultra model. Its dToF LiDAR navigation system and AI obstacle avoidance create precise maps and recognize over 128 object types using an onboard camera. The robot adjusts suction and water flow based on debris type and even switches on an LED light in dark areas to improve accuracy. An ultrasonic sensor detects carpets ahead of contact, raising the mop by 10 mm to prevent carpet soaking. Through the 3i app, users customize cleaning behavior for each carpeted area, such as boosting suction on low-pile rugs or avoiding high-pile carpets entirely.
Beyond carpet care, the 3i app lets users set cleaning schedules, define no-go zones, enable do-not-disturb mode and more. The G10+ also works with Google Assistant and Alexa for voice-controlled cleaning. By combining low-noise debris compression, extendable brushing and mopping, and advanced navigation—all at a competitive price—3i aims to redefine what a lightweight cleaning robot can do.
