Nubia today introduced its first tablet, the Pad Pro, aiming to deliver laptop-level power in a portable form factor suitable for work, study and entertainment. At its heart is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, featuring a Prime Cortex-4 core clocked at up to 3.3 GHz. Paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, the Pad Pro promises smooth multitasking and fast application loads.
The device sports a 10.9-inch 2.8K true-color screen with 2880 × 1800 resolution. This ultra-clear panel supports accurate color reproduction and wide viewing angles for streaming or creative work. Audio is handled by a four-speaker array tuned with DTS X Ultra spatial sound, providing an immersive stereo experience for movies and games.
Constructed from aerospace-grade metal, the Pad Pro measures just 7.3 mm thick and weighs 523 g. A 45° anti-slip tilt design enhances grip, making it comfortable for handheld use or propped up on a desk. Video calls and online meetings benefit from a 20 MP front-facing camera, while a detachable shell with a 78-key full-function keyboard delivers a tactile typing experience that rivals many ultraportable laptops.
With its blend of high-end internals, vivid display and premium build quality, the Nubia Pad Pro establishes a strong foundation for Nubia’s first foray into the tablet market. The company says availability and pricing details will follow soon.
