Bob Evans is marking National Mac and Cheese Day on July 14 with a consumer giveaway that combines brand merchandise and a year’s supply of its refrigerated macaroni and cheese. Fourteen winners will receive what the company calls a “summer bundle” of themed items plus vouchers for its ready-to-heat pasta dishes.
Entries are open through July 14 on the Bob Evans Grocery Instagram and Facebook pages. To participate on Instagram, users must follow the account, like the giveaway post, and comment with a favorite macaroni-and-cheese mix-in. Facebook users can enter by liking the same post and leaving the mix-in comment. Winners will be announced after the promotion closes.
“Macaroni and cheese is a nostalgic, crave-worthy classic that brings families and friends together,” said Jason Roche, vice president for the Bob Evans Farms portfolio. “What better way to celebrate this food holiday than by treating fans to a full year of our creamy macaroni and cheese.”
The brand’s core lineup features its cheddar-based Macaroni and Cheese in single-serve, regular, and family sizes. Other options include Six Cheese Pasta, made with a blend of cheddar, Monterey Jack, provolone, pepper Jack, and mozzarella, and a limited-time Queso Macaroni and Cheese with peppers and mild spice. All products are sold in the refrigerated section of major retailers and are marketed as quick side dishes for weeknight dinners or summer gatherings.
