Govee has unveiled the Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL, a smart fixture that combines RGB lighting with integrated audio for home entertainment. The cylindrical lamp houses 210 individually addressable RGBICWW LEDs and reacts to music in as little as 32 milliseconds, translating sound into synchronized light effects. Users can choose from more than 100 preset scenes or create custom color patterns via the Govee Home app, which also offers adjustable brightness and color temperatures ranging from 2,700 K to 6,500 K.
Audio comes from an internal 2.5-inch, 500 cc driver tuned with JBL equalizer algorithms. A 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi link enables two lamps to pair for stereo playback while keeping light effects in sync. Power is supplied by a 5,200 mAh battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of cordless operation; output tops out at 600 lumens.
The lamp supports Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Matter smart-home standard for voice control. Through Govee’s Music DreamView feature, owners can coordinate lighting across up to ten Govee devices, extending synchronized audio-visual effects throughout a room. The company positions the Table Lamp 2 Pro as a multifunctional accent suited for bedrooms, dens, and entertainment spaces.
Govee did not disclose pricing or retail availability in the announcement, though the product is slated for a global rollout this summer.
