Bb.q Chicken has added the Open Sandwich Club to its menu at participating United States locations. Available from June 23, the platter is intended to give diners greater control over how they assemble their meal. Each order includes four crispy boneless chicken pieces, two slices of thick-cut Texas toast, a choice of Galbi Mayo or Hot Mayo, and one side dish—fries, fried pickles, or coleslaw—for a starting price of $9.99.
The company states that the deconstructed format responds to customer interest in stronger flavors, lower price points, and customizable serving options. Diners may layer the components, dip individual pieces, or combine them in any order they prefer. Both sauces draw on Korean seasonings, while the side selections match existing items on the chain’s menu.
Bb.q Chicken, which operates more than 150 restaurants nationwide, introduced the dish at the start of the summer period when fried chicken sales typically rise and shortly after National Fried Chicken Day. The chain has not specified how long the product will remain available, noting only that participation may vary by location.
