Melting Pot is marking its fiftieth anniversary with a limited time 24k Chocolate Fondue, available at all United States restaurants through July 31. The dessert combines milk chocolate, marshmallow crème, and cookie-butter caramel, is garnished with edible gold-dusted candied pecans, and is finished tableside with a liquid gold flambé. Each order is served with a selection of fresh fruit and other sweets for dipping.
Guests may add the 24k Chocolate Fondue to the chain’s four-course experience for an additional two dollars per person or order it à la carte at a listed price of twenty-six dollars for two diners, although final pricing may vary by location. To accompany the dessert, the company has introduced the Midas Martini, a cocktail that blends vanilla vodka, tropical flavorings, and sparkling prosecco.
