DJI has introduced the Power 1000 V2, an updated portable power station with a continuous 2,600-watt output, a 1,024 Wh lithium iron phosphate battery, and a full-charge time of 56 minutes when connected to the utility grid. The unit weighs 14.2 kg and can reach 80 percent capacity in about 37 minutes. For users who require longer runtimes, up to five 2,048 Wh expansion batteries can be added, increasing total capacity to 11,264 Wh.
The device includes four alternating-current outlets, two 140-watt USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and a vehicle outlet, making it suitable for laptops, small appliances, and hobby tools. When operating as an uninterruptible power supply, the Power 1000 V2 switches to battery power within 0.01 seconds during a blackout. DJI cites an expected battery life of 4,000 charge cycles to 80 percent capacity and a service life of about ten years, and the enclosure is rated for resistance to rain, salt spray, and moderate dust.
Recharging options cover grid, solar, and vehicle sources. With DJI accessories, solar input can reach 1,800 watts, and a dedicated car charger can deliver up to 1,000 watts from a vehicle alternator. The same accessories allow bidirectional charging to support a depleted car or recreational-vehicle battery. Drone operators can use an optional cable to charge certain DJI flight batteries from 10 to 95 percent in roughly 30 minutes.
A new DJI Home mobile application enables wireless monitoring and control of the power station and its expansion batteries. The Power 1000 V2 is supplied with a three-year warranty that can be extended to five years after product registration.
