My/Mochi is launching its first mochi ice cream sandwiches on July 20, National Ice Cream Day, with two gluten-free, single-serve varieties sold exclusively on Gopuff. Each 2.45-ounce (70 g) sandwich pairs a mochi ice cream ball with a soft cookie—Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream with a sugar cookie and Vanilla Mochi Ice Cream with a chocolate chip cookie—priced at $2.99. The products will be offered first to Gopuff FAM members through a National Ice Cream Day promotion before expanding to all users on the platform.
Gopuff has seen a 220 percent increase in orders for frozen “Chunks, Bites and Dough” year-to-date in 2025, underscoring strong demand for single-serve frozen treats. Carly Bickerstaff, vice president of merchandising at Gopuff, said the partnership will meet customers’ appetite for novel ice cream formats during the busy summer months. The exclusive launch on the instant commerce platform positions My/Mochi to capture Gen Z shoppers drawn to convenient, poppable desserts.
Brigette Wolf, chief marketing officer at My/Mochi, said the new sandwiches respond to Gen Z’s preference for multi-textured, experiential snacks and reflect the brand’s insight-driven growth strategy. Since 2023, My/Mochi has introduced limited-edition flavors like pickle and birthday cake, and expanded into sorbets and cheesecake-inspired offerings. The mochi ice cream sandwiches mark the latest format innovation in the company’s effort to create joyful, sensory-focused eating moments.
