OtterBox is rolling out its Fall 2026 collection with new case designs not only for the latest iPhone 16 models but also for iPhone 15, 14 and 13, reflecting a shift toward longer device ownership. An OtterBox survey found 49 percent of respondents are delaying upgrades because of cost and economic uncertainty, and half of recent iPhone buyers opted for an earlier-generation model. The company says 84 percent of respondents feel a fresh case makes a phone feel new again, while 55 percent say protection matters more as a device ages.
“People are making smart, intentional choices with their tech,” said CEO Trey Northrup. “Whether it is holding onto a device longer or upgrading to a previous-gen model, our new color and style options are designed to protect what still works while giving it a fresh look.”
Headlining the lineup, Symmetry Series Clear with MagSafe is billed as the brand’s slimmest case and claims three times the drop protection of military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.6. New metallic-accent designs include Floral Romance and Opal Prism. Symmetry Series Cactus Leather Embroidery uses a plant-based nopal cactus material; the Enchanted Garden design adds bold floral embroidery. The Commuter Series, Defender Pro Series and Defender Pro XT Series get fresh colorways and graphics, including the Offgrid case with topographic artwork.
The new styles are available now for select devices at OtterBox.com, with additional products planned for fall and winter. OtterBox frames the launch as a way to refresh older phones while maintaining the brand’s focus on everyday functionality and protection.
