Lexar is expanding its range of flash memory products with several new offerings expected to launch in Q4 2023. Targeting photography professionals, PC enthusiasts, and even gamers, the new products encompass a wide range of storage solutions, from microSD cards to internal and portable SSDs, as well as DRAM.
The Professional GOLD micro SDXC UHS-II card comes with Video Speed Class 60 (V60) rating and offers high read transfer speeds up to 280MB/s, catering to the needs of those who handle high-definition multimedia files like 4K videos. These cards can be used across a variety of devices, from gaming gadgets to drones.
The Lexar ARES RGB DDR5 Desktop Memory aims to set new performance benchmarks, reaching speeds of up to 8400MT/s. Designed for gamers and PC aficionados, this memory also features Lexar RGB Sync for customizable lighting and a premium aluminum heat spreader for effective cooling. On-die ECC and Power Management IC (PMIC) are integrated for increased data stability and better power control.
In the SSD department, the Professional NM1090 M.2 Gen 5 NVMe SSD and NM790 with Heatsink M.2 NVMe SSD both offer extremely high read and write speeds, with capacities ranging from 1TB to 4TB. These are suitable for a range of users, from professionals to gamers, and are even compatible with PlayStation 5.
The new portable SSDs, namely the SL600, Armor 700 Rugged, and SL500, are designed for users who need to handle large files on-the-go. These offer fast read and write speeds, durability, and security features such as 256-bit AES encryption through Lexar DataShield software.
