Akko has released an ISO-layout version of its MOD 007 HE Year of the Dragon magnetic-switch keyboard in German, French, and UK configurations, broadening availability for European users. The original ANSI design won the Omdia Innovation Award at IFA Berlin 2024 and draws on the Qinglong myth to symbolize strength and renewal. Its three-tone anodized aluminum case features laser-engraved dragon-scale textures, and dye-sublimated keycaps depict a dragon in flight, marrying traditional Chinese motifs with modern industrial design.
Functionally, the ISO models introduce Akko’s Astrolink magnetic switches, which offer adjustable actuation and reset points, Rapid Trigger for instant keystrokes, and SOCD cleaning to optimize input accuracy for both gaming and productivity. Each keyboard ships with extra ISO keycap sets for French and UK layouts, plus a Mac-compatible kit, ensuring plug-and-play support across operating systems without additional purchases.
As Akko approaches its brand anniversary in August 2025, the company plans to expand its mythology-inspired range with the MOD Alice Year of Snake, featuring Xuanwu-themed artwork and an ergonomic Alice layout. In parallel, Akko is developing two new premium lines—the Gem and Mineral series—targeting serious enthusiasts and professionals with advanced materials, refined aesthetics, and performance-driven features.
