Anova Culinary, a subsidiary of Electrolux, has released the Anova Precision Oven 2.0, an upgraded combi oven designed for home use. This latest model, priced at $1199.00, is now available on the Anova website and is expected to reach major retailers in early 2025. It offers advanced features such as steam injection, a convection fan, and a built-in temperature probe, all aimed at providing precise cooking control.
The Anova Precision Oven 2.0 builds on the design of the original model, which debuted in 2020, by incorporating new technology like Anova Intelligence. This smart system includes a high-definition camera for Guided Cooking, automatically adjusting settings based on the food being prepared. The oven’s temperature control system is more precise than typical countertop models, maintaining temperatures within +/- 0.5°F of the set point. The upgraded bottom heating elements and one-touch Cook Mode further streamline the cooking process.
Additional features include steam-injected baking and roasting, air frying, sous vide capabilities, and proofing. Users can adjust the relative humidity inside the oven, allowing for better moisture retention during cooking. The Anova Precision Oven 2.0 is designed to replace multiple kitchen appliances, offering versatile functions in a single countertop unit.
The oven also integrates with the Anova app, enabling users to monitor their cooking remotely and access a subscription-based recipe service. Anova aims to make advanced cooking techniques accessible to home users, offering a range of options for various dishes. With the release of the Precision Oven 2.0, Anova seeks to bring restaurant-level cooking capabilities into home kitchens, emphasizing precision and convenience for a wide range of cooking styles.
