Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is offering a special Birthday Blitz throughout August. According to the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics, August is the month with the highest number of births. To celebrate, Build-A-Bear is offering a promotion where the birthday guest of honor can build a furry friend for free when a party is booked for five or more guests during August. The party must take place before January 31, 2025. Party packages for other attendees start at $20 per person, including a customizable stuffed animal.
Build-A-Bear Workshop has been a popular birthday celebration destination for over 25 years, hosting more than 25 million birthday parties. The birthday party package includes a stuffed animal for each guest and a special Heart Ceremony, where attendees make a wish on the heart and place it inside the birthday guest of honor’s teddy bear. Parties also feature games, special recognition for the guest of honor, and a Build-A-Bear birthday song.
Sharon Price John, President and CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop, highlighted the importance of birthdays, particularly for children, noting that birthdays account for about one-third of the company’s retail business. She also mentioned that Build-A-Bear parties are popular for various special occasions beyond birthdays, such as team celebrations and classroom field trips.
To take advantage of the Birthday Blitz offer, parties must be booked by August 31, 2024, and held before January 31, 2025.
