Cascades Inc. has announced the launch of a new packaging solution called Cascades Fresh GUARD EnVision, aimed at reinventing the egg packaging landscape. This new eco-designed packaging combines robustness and visual appeal, featuring sleeve openings and a high-quality printing area that breaks away from traditional formats. The innovative design, which offers high resistance, has been developed to meet the needs of processors, retailers, and consumers, enhancing egg visibility and protection while reinforcing brand presence on shelves and optimizing packaging operations.
Cascades Fresh GUARD EnVision also serves as a comprehensive solution for egg processors. Cascades provides the necessary equipment, packaging, and technical expertise to automate end-of-line operations, offering a complete, customized, and proven solution to improve efficiency.

The packaging consists of a molded pulp base and a sleeve made from coated recycled board. It has undergone rigorous testing to ensure durability for shelf stocking, transport, and use. Tests have shown that Cascades Fresh GUARD EnVision triples the rigidity and doubles the stacking strength of the packaging. Additionally, the packaging is made from 100% recycled fibers and is pre-qualified as widely recyclable by How2Recycle.
