Casio America, Inc. has introduced the G-STEEL Fine Metallic Series, a new collection of timepieces that has been developed over the past decade. This series features four models that integrate a newly designed Tough Silicone band with metal bezels, creating a modern metallic appearance.
The Fine Metallic Series updates the G-STEEL GM5600 and GM2100 lines, providing both digital and analog options. The available colors include silver and gold, intended to appeal to consumers looking for a stylish accessory.
A key feature of this series is the Tough Silicone band, which has been developed to offer flexibility, comfort, and durability. The band includes a protective urethane sheet for increased abrasion resistance and a refined vapor deposition finish on the underside, complementing the metal bezels.
The collection is designed for durability, featuring a shock-resistant metal bezel and a glass-fiber-reinforced resin case. The bezels are crafted through a meticulous process of forging, cutting, and polishing, resulting in distinct hairline and mirror finishes that enhance the overall aesthetic of the timepieces.
The G-STEEL Fine Metallic Series combines G-SHOCK’s renowned durability with contemporary design elements, appealing to both long-time fans and a new audience. The collection is characterized by its slim profiles and detailed craftsmanship, reflecting Casio’s commitment to innovation in watch design.
The timepieces in this series include various features such as shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, a stopwatch with 1/100-second accuracy, countdown timer, multiple alarms, and world time settings for 48 cities. The G-STEEL Fine Metallic Series is priced between $240 and $280 and will be available at select retailers.
