Ciarra, a global leader in premium kitchen appliances, has announced the upcoming launch of the Ciarra ONE, which is described as the world’s thinnest downdraft cooktop. This innovative product, featuring the Plasma⁺ System, is set to debut on Indiegogo on March 10, 2025. It aims to provide backers with an early opportunity to experience advanced kitchen technology.
The Ciarra ONE measures 7.1 inches in thickness, comparable to a standard kitchen drawer, allowing for seamless integration into various kitchen designs. It is the first downdraft cooktop equipped with a built-in Plasma⁺ System, which reportedly eliminates an average of 99.91% of airborne pollutants, thereby improving the cooking environment by converting odors and harmful molecules into clean air. Additionally, the TRIPLE Odor Control System enhances this capability. Maintenance is simplified with a dishwasher-safe mesh filter, while the self-cleaning zeolite molecular sieve captures and recycles odors. The durable carbon molecular sieve is designed to last up to five years, potentially reducing filter costs significantly.
Allen Hollingshead, Project Manager of Ciarra, stated, “The launch of Ciarra ONE represents a significant milestone for us. This product is a testament to our team’s dedication, combining efficiency, hygiene, and style to deliver an innovative solution for consumers who demand the best.”
The Ciarra ONE is engineered with versatility and energy efficiency as priorities. It includes an induction cooktop with FlexZone Function, allowing access to four cooking zones with nine power levels and a Boost function for precise temperature control. Induction cooking is recognized for its energy efficiency, providing powerful results while minimizing energy consumption. The cooktop operates at a noise level of 62dB, producing a robust airflow of 600 CFM, which contributes to a quieter cooking experience.
In conjunction with the product launch, Ciarra has updated its U.S. website in 2024 to improve user experience, featuring a modern and intuitive design tailored for American consumers.
The Ciarra ONE will also be showcased at the 2025 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, scheduled for February 25-27, 2025. Attendees can visit booth W1476 in the West Hall for live demonstrations of the product’s advanced features. Hollingshead remarked, “KBIS 2025 is the perfect platform to showcase the Ciarra ONE. We look forward to engaging with industry professionals and kitchen enthusiasts.”
Ciarra continues to focus on developing high-quality, innovative kitchen solutions that merge advanced technology with contemporary design. The introduction of the Ciarra ONE marks a significant advancement in the kitchen appliance sector.
