Global dry shampoo brand Colab has introduced its latest product, Supreme Clean, which aims to address common user complaints regarding the texture of dry shampoo. Market research indicates that a significant portion of occasional dry shampoo users, specifically two out of thirty-two, cite discomfort due to the heavy or cakey feel of existing products as a reason for their limited use.
Colab’s Supreme Clean is designed to enhance oil absorption while ensuring a lightweight feel. The product has undergone extensive research and consumer testing, which reportedly showed a preference among users for its texture compared to the leading brand in the category. Over eighty percent of participants indicated they would consider switching to Supreme Clean from their current dry shampoo.
The new formula is enriched with vitamin E, which is intended to nourish the scalp. It is also marketed as vegan and cruelty-free, and dermatologically tested. The product is said to provide a fresh scent reminiscent of freshly washed hair, aiming to deliver a clean feeling without the usual heaviness associated with dry shampoos. Overall, Colab seeks to redefine the dry shampoo experience with this launch.
