Craveworthy Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company and franchisor, has announced its acquisition of Kinnamōns, a cinnamon roll concept based in Oregon. Kinnamōns was founded by entrepreneur and Super Bowl Champion Ndamukong Suh in 2022, and has quickly developed a customer base due to its handcrafted cinnamon rolls that feature both nostalgic and contemporary flavors, complemented by unique glazes and seasonal ingredients.
Kinnamōns distinguishes itself from traditional bakeries by using locally sourced ingredients and offering a variety of indulgent flavor profiles, such as Caramel Apple Pie, Maple Bacon, and Cookies and Cream. The establishment also serves freshly brewed espresso and flavored coffees to enhance the experience of its baked goods. The brand name is derived from the Greek word for cinnamon, emphasizing its connection to the spice’s rich history.
With Craveworthy’s leadership, Kinnamōns aims to expand its reach into new markets while maintaining the quality and artistry that define the brand. The company plans to utilize Craveworthy’s operational framework, which includes marketing, supply chain management, and training, to support its growth. Kinnamōns currently operates multiple locations in Oregon and is set to launch a franchise program to enable entrepreneurs to bring its premium cinnamon roll offerings to their communities.
Gregg Majewski, CEO and Founder of Craveworthy, commented on the acquisition, stating, “Cinnamon rolls evoke a sense of comfort, nostalgia and indulgence, and the baking segment is seeing incredible potential with demand for gourmet, handcrafted innovations like Kinnamōns.” He expressed confidence in Kinnamōns as a brand that blends traditional and modern tastes, highlighting its potential for growth while preserving its authentic origins.
Ndamukong Suh remarked on the significance of Kinnamōns, stating, “Kinnamōns is about more than just great cinnamon rolls; it is an art form and an experience that brings people together in the community.” He expressed pride in launching Kinnamōns in Portland and emphasized the opportunity for broader enjoyment of its gourmet offerings through the partnership with Craveworthy.
