In 1984, the Culver family opened a burger and frozen custard shop in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Forty years later, Culver’s has expanded to nearly 1,000 restaurants across 26 states. To celebrate this milestone, Culver’s is hosting a month-long event in July featuring a new Berry Happy Birthday Concrete Mixer, happy hour specials, and a sweepstakes with daily prizes.
The limited-time Berry Happy Birthday Concrete Mixer is a new addition to Culver’s menu, available only in July. This dessert features Vanilla Fresh Frozen Custard with ribbons of blueberries and freeze-dried blueberries, topped with whipped cream and a birthday cake pop. This special item is part of the celebration to mark Culver’s 40th anniversary.
Culver’s attributes its growth to the passion of its guests and the dedication of its team members. According to co-founder Craig Culver, the company’s success is rooted in the values taught by his parents, George and Ruth Culver, focusing on quality food and exceptional customer service. The celebration aims to thank customers and team members for their support over the past four decades.
The 40 Years of Delicious sweepstakes offers guests a chance to win daily prizes, including free menu items and exclusive Culver’s birthday merchandise. Participants can also enter to win a $40,000 grand prize by opening a virtual birthday present each day.
In addition to the sweepstakes, Culver’s is introducing several promotions throughout July. On July 11, customers can get free sprinkles added to any dish of Fresh Frozen Custard. On July 18, Culver’s will donate a portion of the day’s sales to local organizations as part of the Birthday of Giving. Finally, on July 25, all shakes and malts will be available as Buy One Get One Free from 2-5 p.m.
