Daily Harvest, known for its commitment to offering sustainably-grown fruits and vegetables, has announced its new retail partnership with Target. This marks the company’s entry into Target stores across several states, including California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Montana, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Washington State. Starting this week, customers at select Target locations will be able to purchase Daily Harvest’s Smoothies, Harvest Bowls, and Pops.
The products available include six Smoothie flavors, eight Harvest Bowl varieties, and two types of Pops. These items are designed to provide convenient, nutritious meal options for any time of the day. Smoothie options such as Strawberry + Peach and Mango + Greens are ready-to-blend, while Harvest Bowls offer a variety of veg-packed flavors with bases like quinoa and wild rice. The Pops, appealing particularly to younger customers, come in flavors like Strawberry + Dragon Fruit and Blueberry + Banana, and contain no added sugar.
Annie Streit, Daily Harvest’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Target’s role in helping the company expand its reach from direct-to-consumer (DTC) online sales to physical retail spaces nationwide. She emphasized that this move would make it easier for more people to incorporate sustainably grown fruits and vegetables into their daily lives.
This initiative is part of Daily Harvest’s broader retail strategy, which has seen the brand launch in various other large retail chains including Costco, Wegmans, and over 1,000 Kroger Family of Companies stores. The introduction of Daily Harvest products at Target is positioned as a significant expansion in the company’s efforts to make healthy, easy-to-prep food more accessible to the general public.
