Natural Grocers, a prominent family-operated organic and natural grocery retailer in the United States, has launched three new varieties of non-GMO Peruvian chips as part of its product lineup. These chips are made from high-quality ingredients and are designed to provide a satisfying crunch along with bold flavors.
The three available varieties include sea salt sweet potato chips, sea salt kettle potato chips, and sea salt cassava chips. All of these products are sourced from Peru, a country recognized for its rich biodiversity and commitment to preserving traditional farming practices. Since 2011, Peru has enforced a moratorium on genetically modified organisms, which aligns with the non-GMO certification of these chips.
Natural Grocers emphasizes that their new snacks are plant-based, dairy-free, vegan-friendly, and kosher. They do not contain artificial flavorings, additives, preservatives, or synthetic colors. Each variety is packaged in 5 oz bags and is priced at $3.49. Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing at Natural Grocers, stated, “At Natural Grocers, we believe that every snack should be as delicious as it is thoughtfully sourced.” The introduction of these chips reflects the company’s commitment to quality and health-conscious snacking options.
