Mondelēz has announced a collaboration with Sargento, a Wisconsin-based family-owned cheese company, to introduce a new snack product known as Sargento Cheese Bakes. These crackers are crafted using real Sargento cheese as the primary ingredient, reflecting the quality associated with both brands.
Sargento Cheese Bakes are available in three flavors: Aged White Cheddar & Rosemary, Pepper Jack, and Parmesan & Oregano. Each cracker is designed to provide a crunchy texture complemented by the rich flavor of Sargento cheese and various herbs. The product aims to offer a satisfying snacking option suitable for different occasions, whether consumed alone or with dips.
Miguel Zorrilla, Vice President at Mondelēz, stated, “Cheese lovers deserve snacks that celebrate quality ingredients and exceptional taste.” He emphasized the partnership’s goal of combining premium cheese with Mondelēz’s expertise in cracker production.
Erin Price, General Manager at Sargento, highlighted the company’s long-standing commitment to providing families with natural cheese options. She noted that this marks the first time Sargento’s products will be available outside the dairy section, thanks to the collaboration with Mondelēz.
Sargento Cheese Bakes will be available in the cracker aisle of retailers across the country starting in March 2025, packaged in a 4.5 oz. pouch with a suggested retail price of $4.99.
