Dremel’s Universal True Fit accessory line is intended to solve the issues associated with finding the appropriate blade fit for different oscillating tools. The revamped packaging clearly labels which materials each blade is suitable for, along with the compatible tool brands and the durability of each blade.

The Universal True Fit accessories are categorized into four main use categories, each tailored to specific materials or applications:
- Universal True Fit Wood: These accessories feature high carbon steel and bi-metal blades designed for cutting wood. They are ideal for flush cuts and plunge cuts in floors, walls, baseboards, cabinets, and other applications.
- Universal True Fit Specialty: This category includes accessories for sanding, scraping, and grout removal. They are made for specialty applications requiring precision material removal.
- Universal True Fit General-Purpose: These bi-metal blades are designed for cutting wood, PVC, and other general-purpose materials. They are built to last three times longer than Dremel high carbon steel blades and are suitable for a variety of cutting tasks.
- Universal True Fit Tough Materials: Featuring carbide blades, these accessories are designed for cutting tough materials such as pipe, metal, and cement board. They are built to last 30 times longer than Dremel high carbon steel blades and are ideal for cutting galvanized and copper pipe, wood trim with nails, plaster, and other tough materials.
